Reaction When My Husband Asks Where the New Cat Came From

We have had the experience here in my house when my other half has come home from work to discover an extra cat in the house.   It has become so normal to me for a new foster to be arriving that I don't always remember to mention it.

Lawrence has been spayed

Lawrence the cat was spayed today at Close Veterinary Clinic.   As always, everyone at Close Veterinary Clinic was wonderful.   We are so grateful for their help and their great treatment of all the animals in the rescue.   THANK YOU.

Crazy Cat Lady Organizer

I may need one of these soon but there should be sizable slots to fit other animals too.   Large slots on the bottoms for big dogs,  middle sized ones in the center for the cats and smaller ones on the top for the snakes.
I will someday post the cast of characters who reside in my home permanently.   Maybe I'll even try to get them all into an organizer.  It would make for a really cute picture but I really doubt they would co-operate.

HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY!

Fortunately,  St. Patrick drove the snakes out of Ireland and not the cats.   We love cats and they look great in green.   Everyone have a safe and happy St Patrick's Day.   Remember to take a cab.

PROUD PARENT OF A RESCUE ANIMAL

I am the proud parent of many rescue animals.  Right now, I have two dogs, 3 cats, one foster cat, and four snakes.  The dogs both started out as fosters in my home.   One cat I got as a kitten from a farm,  one cat comes from Small Things Cat Rescue in Sudbury and one was adopted from  Raina's Cat Rescue.  Lawrence is still here and waiting to be spayed before she goes up for adoption.

Sofia will be looking for a home

Sofia is a sweet and gentle all black female cat with beautiful yellow eyes.   She is very shy and hasn't done well in her foster home because she is terrified of the other animals.  She would do very well in a quiet home with no other animals.
Sofia is now on her way to Ayr Animal Hospital where she will be spayed and put up for adoption.
Sofia's forever family will be very fortunate to have such a sweet and loving girl.

HAPPY IS THE HOME WITH AT LEAST ONE CAT

I guess that is why my home is so happy and gets happier every day.
There are lots of cats up for adoption.   Make your home happier today.

Look at the size of the baby bump

Lawrence (whose name we have shortened to Lauren) should be having kittens very soon judging by the size of her.  Look at the size of that baby bump!  Lauren is a sweet and loving girl.  I'm sure she will be a wonderful mother and her kittens will be just as sweet as she is.

This is how I feel every time one of the cats gets adopted

This is how I feel each time one of the cats gets adopted.   While they are living with me I treat them like a part of my family.  They get the same treatment and amount of attention that my own cats get.  I love each and every one of them.  Each time a cat gets adopted I am both joyous because they have found a home and crushed because they are leaving me.    I know I can't keep them all but that doesn't mean that I don't wish I could.
